Amy grew up in Pennsylvania next to Marsh Creek State Park, and spent her childhood traveling to different National Parks, and doing various outdoor activities. This inspired her to get a degree in Environmental Studies from the University of South Carolina, where she graduated from in the Spring of 2024. She loves hiking, camping, rock climbing, line dancing, volleyball, and playing outdoor sports, and she is passionate about preserving the land. She started working at East Rio Arriba SWCD in October 2024 as a Working Lands Conservation Corps Member, and is looking forward to learning about all things New Mexico.
